Since the departure of William Petersen, CSI has gone to the dogs. Laurence Fishburne was not a good fit, it was practically a miniseries of his character Dr. Ray Langston, the episodes were ridiculous and some were even embarrassing to watch. I breathe a sigh of relief when he left. I did not mind Ted Danson when he first appeared although he was annoying when he was on the phone with his wife all the time. But as soon Elizabeth Shue appeared as Finn it became like as episode of Cheers. The writers seem to have very little imagination. Ted Danson first appeared he was lying in a pool of blood so was Elizabeth Shue. The adage of any new CSI is "is not about the money" When Grissom told Greg to expect a pay cut when becoming a CSI, Greg replied it’s not about the money. When Grissom told Langston that the pay is not great, Langston said the same thing. And now Finn says the same thing. The only one who seemed to be bothered about the money was Grissom. When Catherine told him to give up the job in Season 1, he replied the grass is always greener. In the 2 episodes so far, she and Russell is constantly flirting & teasing. Hinting to viewers that they had something going on in the past. I remembered very well he told Catherine in the earlier episode that he and his wife were high school sweethearts. Ever since he got married then he never looked at another women. In all the years when Grissom as a supervisor I have never seen a CSI sitting crossed legged on his desk. Not even Sara. It was really ridiculous at the end of the episode Elizabeth Shue whipped out an electric saw from her SUV and threatened to cut up the house. The writers have a poor memory on what was being said in earlier seasons. I remembered in season 3 that she had 2 older brothers and now suddenly she says that she’s the only child. It is so obvious that CSI is straying from being a forensic show. With all its main beloved actors gone maybe it’s about time they shelf the show.

I have been searching for this one GSR fanfiction story all over the web and I keep coming up short. I need your help! I'm pretty sure I read it on Fanfiction.com, but I am not 100% positive. I forget the title of the story but the plot was along the lines of: Sara lived in California as a detective with a daughter. Grissom was retired and was a consultant for the Vegas Crime Lab on a case that involved dealing with Sara's department in California. Once the team is in California, Grissom finds out Sara's daughter is also his. There was also something about a tattoo that Sara had also. I hope someone can help me out!
