Episode Summary

Sara and Nick arrive at a bloody bathroom crime scene where a dead man is naked covered in blood. The woman, Marnie Bennet, who found the body is questioned and she was an employee/lover of the victim, Ryan Lester, a porn producer. Marnie was in the house when the murder happened, but didn't hear or see much. She found the body then ran for help and ran into the local neighborhood watch captain, Harvey Wincroft. Super Dave finds the victim's neck was cut just enough to kill him and Sara finds size 10.5 bloody shoe prints leading away from the crime scene. Both the Harvey and Marnie are processed at the lab. Harvey complains about the neighborhood becoming vacant because of foreclosures and says there's been a peeping Tom in the neighborhood. Marnie claims that the victim had also reported a peeping Tom looking in the windows of his house/studio who looked like "Marilyn Manson." Greg discovers evidence of the peeping Tom in web cam videos.

Nick and Greg investigate the home and find how the peeper cut through the cardboard and moved the curtain with a dry cleaner hanger. They trace the dry cleaner hanger to one home in the neighborhood and a teenage boy named Craig, who obviously worships Marilyn Manson. Craig has 10.5 size shoes and they discover a razor blade with evidence of blood on it. They find a fake arm and Halloween masks and Sara realizes Craig is the son of Paul Millander - a serial killer that Grissom caught in the second season. They take Craig to the station for questioning, but it turns out the blade doesn't match the victim's blood. They take Craig's DNA anyway.

Back at the crime scene, Nick supervises the use of a dog to find clues. The police dog leads them to another dead body, a drug dealer named Kilo. Both were killed with the same method. While reviewing the evidence, they can put Craig at the porn house but not the drug house. Ray notes that the rubber hand from Craig's room has a congenital defect, which Paul Millander did not. Since Paul used his own hand for the mold, this arm was not one made by Paul. Ray talks to Craig and tries to bond with him over their fathers. Ray coaxes Craig into cutting the neck of a dummy. Craig has the congenital defect and can't properly hold a box cutter. He's not the killer.

Nick and Sara find arterial spurting on the shoulder's of Harvey Wincroft's shirt proving that he killed the men. At a stand off at the home, Harvey explains why he wanted to rid the neighborhood of the bad people that had moved in. After a tense standoff, Harvey releases his daughter from the home and then his wife. He briefly holds his gun to his chin and then drops it to the ground - turning himself in.

Secondary Crime:

Ray and the coroner look at the body hinted at in the last episode. The large intestine has been wrapped around the victim's spleen, but there are no exterior signs of incisions. The mutilation took place after the victim (a bum) was already dead from a heart attack. Ray and Dr. Robbins search for a laporoscopic incision and find one on the interior of the navel, pointing to someone who has access to surgical equipment. Catherine recognized the bum's name (Joseph Bigelow), and realizes that he is Joe Joe Bigelow, an old piano player who loved the strip. The body was found so far away from the strip, they theorize that the killer moved the body and picked the victim at random.

Ray tries to reproduce the bow tie knot in a pig and is finding it almost impossible. Exlie's bow tie sparks Ray's mind and he realizes that the killer (who he's named Dr. Jekyl), kept Joe's missing bow tie as a souvenir. He tells Catherine that they may be seeing the start of a serial killer.

that bow-style intestine shown; is for the dr.jekyll on season 10 which the part 1 episode ray got hit on the head and slump. i wonder where part 2 is?
