"Yeah Nick has been through a lot, but not really since S.5. All of the other major (AKA Not Ray) CSIs have also been through bad situations (not as many, but more recently).
Ugh I know- way too much Ray in, not only the finales, but also in general.

I agree on all parts... ray langston ad nauseum... it kinda shows how csi has changed in the recent past because in the early to mid years, even though gris was the lead, he never got as much air time as langston. it was always equal time shares with the other team members. (the way it should be)
As for the finale, i believe the writers had everything going great the entire season up until that final scene when we realize who jekyll really is...I didn't expect jekyll to be the kind of aggressive, confrontational killer they ultimately made him out to be in the finale. I was thinking he would be more of a deranged sociopath who hid behind some dark secret. (he couldn't be a doctor, so he decides to go on a killing spree?) i was expecting someone more similar to a natalie davis.. past traumatic experiences.. It seemed only natural that the finale would have a shootout and another scene where langston could devulge more about his father To me, i don't think the end fit the means and the man behind the curtain didn't seem like the cunning wizard the writers made him out to be. But than again, unusual and unpredictable is what I have grown to love about the show.
