'CSI''s leading man will receive a spot on the Walk of Fame. Also, 'CSI' is the number one show in the world.
Petersen will be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame, and his series has earned an honor of its own. While CSI failed to beat Desperate Housewives to become the best scripted show in America, the forensic drama holds the title of most popular series in the world. Negotiations continue, but no deal has been reached.
Some television series, such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: New York and New York's lead in Criminal Minds, will have episodes filmed by the time the SAG contract runs out. Other popular series, including CSI: Miami and CSI's competitor Grey's Anatomy, will not have any finished episodes in the can in case of a work stoppage.
