Gary Dourdan is leaving CSI
"Okay. So apparently, bashing GSR is not allowed because there are people here who like the relationship and they are easily offended when someone dares to voice their opinion that GSR is not "all that." Yet bashing Ronnie and Sofia (characters some people like) is acceptable to you?
Why is it that there are some GSR fans (yourself included) who can't accept the fact that not everyone adores the relationship and that there are some people who believe Grissom and Sara are a terrible couple? Are you so insecure that you can't handle it when someone posts an opinion that is different from your own? Why do you feel the need to attempt to control who says what on this board? Why can't you just accept the fact that there are people here who do not worship at the altars of GSR and Sara Sidle? Are you that insecure?" Chocobear - I completely agree with you. This is a CSI fansite so it should encompass all views and opinions regarding the show, characters and relationships. I happen to like the GSR relationship, but if I want to spout off about how wonderful it is or whaterver I go to the site that's dedicated to GSR since there happens to be one. I suggest that other members of this site who are also fans of GSR check that out as an alternative to berating and disrespecting other people who don't agree with you.

OFFICAL (from jorja fox herself) she has left CSI!
I'm wondering whether it would be correct to equate what your field is called in the UK with what is often referred to in the states as a para-medic as for onsite trauma unit, or as an emergency room and / or trauma nurse. I'm sure as we converse, more will be revealed. All nurses and doctors are 'supposed' to be researchers. Not everyone keeps up to snuff, if you know what I mean. Many private practicioners can and have fallen in that category. When associated with a hospital, depending on the field, they usually keep with the in-service(s) as scheduled JAMA, etc., etc., .
Joe Public - thus ABC's loss in the decision not to take on CSI was CBS's gain.
As for the word(s) patient and person ... I think it's a word usage decision based on locality and growth environment. It is commonly by tradition in the US not an issue to refer to a person awaiting assessment, diagnosis and probable treatment by a doctor, nurse practitioner or physician's assistant to be referred to as a 'patient' as a term of generics. When speaking to the person / patient directly, we call and utilize their preferred title:name (ex.: Mr. / Mrs. ???), I'm sure you'd understand the rest as for the pediatrics issue. The term also helps to differentiate in the emergent as well as clinical setting who is actually the human awaiting medical attention and who are the family members in waiting that have accompanied them because the are all persons.

Lady Heathers Return!
And with me makes three. LH may have been an interesting character but 1. If this turns into a cheap triangle, then it will look like the soap-opera that some anti-gsr (and anti-relationships) predicted it would be with the GSR going on..., 2. LH's character was likely done in POTTR, now bring her: why?, 3. There are 8 or 9 members of the "initial credits club", plus a lot of labrats, plus a minikiller, plus a lot of things forensics and not forensics, and a lot of these characters and stories haven't been given enough screentime (even initial credits clubbers) or need and deserve to be developed, resolved, etc... then again why bring LH to steal precious screentime? and 4. just before the season finale... we have that little MINI KILLER thing to do, we want this climatic ending and stuff, so unless she's somehow related to that storyline, what's the point in bringing her just before the season finale?
So, unless they develop one marvelous, MK related and really creative storyline, it will fall flat...

Chat about Episode 10.20 | Take My Life Please
Dead Comedian story line never took off. What a waste of Tim Conway and Jennifer Tilley. The story was so boring there no need to comment further on it.
The second storyline actually had more potential than the leading story. Dead Anti-abortionest bomber found dead with more holes in him than anyone had ever seen. Was it the young man who lost his parents and sister to the bomb, or maybe the wife for being abandon when he skipped town or was it a group of the surviving family members of the bombing victim that got their revenge. No it was a bunch of gun lovers who like to blast things apart with guns, rifle and equipment that shouldn't be in the hands of anyone but the Military. Why go from revenge to accident? The revenge storyline would have been more plausible than a bunch of yahoo's accidentally turned this guy into human swiss cheese.
I'm thinking CSI needs to get some fresh writers in to beef up the storylines and turn the show in a new direction.

Hey come onguys think positive, now that the initial shock is over.
I know it has been a shock for most of you hearing of William Petersen's permanent cast member exit in season 9, and i sympathize with each and every one of you. But i have to say that i am a little sad that quite a few of you seem to have already written off CSI & GSR continuing past the end of the season. Both Jorja Fox and William Petersen we have been told in several news articles recently, have said they will be guest appearing in the show in the future, and after episode 9.10, so why are they both being written off by anyone so soon? These two actors, along with Gary Dourdan and the other main cast members have given us 9yrs, 24/7 for 9 months of the year dedication to bring us a brilliant top rating interesting inovative and enjoying show on a Thursday evening, please lets not give up on them now. Be positive and support the shows and actors futures.
lol

Its Sarah... and Ill tell u why
"Ok ur wayyyyy off th topic now ok?.... lets get back to wether sara is the killer or not!" True, sorry. I was responding to a comment against the relationship between Sara and Grissom which is probably behind the ludicrous notion of Sara as the killer. Not.Gonna.Happen. And wishing it won't make it come true. It won't be a member of the main cast; CSI isn't that stupid, but if it were, I'd say Catherine is the one most likely to be capable of killing someone. In fact she said as much in the first season of the show, the mob on the airplane episode.

Warrick drugged out, strung out and on the outs with
Well I don't think Warrick did it. Firstly if he did do it then he would be convicted and another loss of a CSI member meaning the show would slowly end. I think they're gonna get the fat, hairy guy for it. Then Warrick is gonna take a leave of absence for like 2 epi. and we are then gonna see more of Greg. Then Warrick will probably come back sorted and life will go on in the CSI labs. Then more drama will probably occur when we hear something about Sara. This is all just me making stuff up to show why Warrick didn't and couldn't kill Candy (prostitute).

Holy Crap Gregs Job??
"Okay... I am sorry, why is everyone so against Langston. He is a fine character and he hasn't been hogging the show lately. When was the last episode where it was solely focused on Langston. The writters are not just focusing on Langston, they did in Season 9, but he was a new character kinda taking over the lead. they had to somewhat focus on him. But now, he is in a stable possition, and the writters are focusing on the crimes more right now and not so much the amount of air time for each character. Every character is getting an equal amount of screen time and no one is hogging the episodes. Of course the writters have their A and B cases, but they have been spread pretty even. Okay, think about this. There are only 4, (5 including Sara in the ocassional episode) but there are only 4 CSI's on the show right now, its pretty damn easy to spread the screen time out and give everyone a fair share (but Greg can always use more screen time. I love him :D)" I'M NOT AGAINST LF/LANGSTON, I think he's awesome, and a real asset to CSI, he's got all the right moves and then some, and it's not the Greg/CSI show, there's other cast members as well.

Discuss Episode 924 | All In here
So, yeah, what is up with this show. It's been totally destroyed. I predicted this when Fishburne first joined the cast. It has become the Laurence Fishburne show - and if I were Marg and George, I would leave. I think I'll stick with my Criminal Minds and stop watching CSI - because the writers had a chance to build on the other characters, and instead, they sold them up the river and I no longer have respect for any of them. Sorry George, Marg, Eric and others ... but I cannot stomach the show anymore.

will jorja stay
"I was sooo happy until I went on Jorjafox.online and read that interview with Ausiello, also why would they go through that far to save and then dump her? I don't understand, so I hope and pray it's not true" Me too! I thought the season premier was awesome. I loved the ending when Sara opened her eyes, saw Grissom's name on the vest and then saw Grissom's face. They said so much to each other without speaking a word - you felt the love. I was so excited about season 8. I did a search today thinking I was going to find news about the agreement on Jorja's contract for the new season. I was so surprised and disappointed when I read Ausiello's article. It ruined everything. I've read it a few times. Based on Jorja's answers I do think it's true but, I haven't stopped hoping that it's not. I always wanted CSI to end with all of the cast members together and of course a happy ending for GSR.

omg
im good,
exited, i get to spend 10 hours in a bus tomorrow leaving at 6 AM to go to a dodgeball tournament in Calgary, it should be fun.
we are dressing up in random costumes and entering the tourny.,
i am mad about the people that i am on a team with though, cause they dont wanna do any of my ideas for costumes (even though i am the only one so far who has actually paid and handed in their regestration form)
i can understand if they dont wanna go CSI, but they shot down all like 10 of my ideas, and they wanna go 70s (like theres not gonna be someone there already like that)
and i am not the type to wear sequined tank tops and stuff, so i am saying NO!
i hope we can come to a compromize

Sara in Season 8
Any story, on television or other media, wouldn't last long in the long run if they gave their viewers what they wanted. If they did, their viewers will have seen what they wanted and soon lose interest. They will keep Grissom and Sara dancing around each other until people start tiring of it. So right now, Sara's trapped under a car. Either they will pull a Dallas and say it was all a dream, she'll die, or be miraculously saved in an unlikely scenario. Then again, I don't really care. I've never even seen CSI. Just posting here cause one of my friends likes it and I hope to crush their dreams. Plus it allows me to waste time talking about something as predictable as this melodramatic show. Have fun with season eight, don't do drugs, and please stay off the streets while inebriated. Don't bother sending private messages to me. I won't be back. Also, that email isn't mine, so don't bother spamming it.

The relationship has been in the works from the start. Gray show started way after CSI. So I dont see where you get your info. When Jorja Fox Audition for the part it said that she is a love interest for Grissom. This is a fact and it started from all the writer, soooooo LONG LIVE GSR.
