Dec 28 2009, 5:59 PM EST I have been wondering if they are going to bring in a new female detective, since, sadly it does not look like Sofia is coming back any time soon. Does anyone have any thoughts on who they would like to see cast if they were to bring in someone new? As a former West Wing fan, I would love to see Allison Janney on CSI...she would be able to pull off a tough and soft cop character very convincingly. Since DH has a habit of killing off or sending character off into limbo she might be available soon. She could be one of those Detective who still doesn't believe in the forensic trumps regular cop work. stuff. She and Catherine would but heads and the rest of the cast would avoid her till she warms up to them. Post reply Do you find this valuable?

She was originally supposed to be Riley but the head of CBS nixed that idea in favor of Lauren Lee Smith. Look how that turned out. Post reply Do you find this valuable?
