Liz Vassey leaving CSI

Liz Vassey today posted this on her Facebook page:Well. After 5 years and almost 80 episodes, I have been asked to hang up the lab coat. Sad news for me. I will miss my CSI friends very much. I want to thank everyone for being so supportive, particularly about the writing with Wally this year...and I wish all the people that I love on the show a happy season 11 and beyond. 6 out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

Given that she said hang up the LAB coat, it could be a miss understanding and mean she Wendy is going to the field, however in my opinion that is not the case.I will keep you updated on this news. Do you find this valuable? |

She also says that she will miss her CSI friends so I really think she is leaving.She also says that she has been asked so she may be going away against her will. I don't know what the writers are doing but letting Wendy go is not good for the show!!! Do you find this valuable? |

"She also says that she will miss her CSI friends so I really think she is leaving.i agree after the hits we fans got the last seasons, Warricks death, sara leaving, grissom leaving, langston replaces grissom, now they will take out Liz, how much more hits we will need to get? i am very dissapointed in how they have handled the last seasons. I am happy Sara did return (but then again it were guest apperances) i know we won´t be getting warrick back i am hoping we will get Grissom back at least... :-( Do you find this valuable? |

Jon Wellner has commented, he can't believe it, he is sad for himself and Henry but believes Liz is a movie star in the making.

The latest from Liz's facebook is this:I don't really know any specifics. My manager was called and informed on Thursday that my contract wasn't picked up, I wasn't invited back, and that's all I've heard. And yeah, it's really sad. I will miss your husband and the rest of the Rats terribly. xoL Do you find this valuable? |

When I first read this, I thought it had to just be a rumor but they've been saying that so far its true, which really makes me depressed. I love Wendy/Liz she's been my favorite Lab Rat ever since her first episode. i just don't understand why CBS would do that..they just made her a series regular!!

I'm shocked at the news about Liz Vassey leaving. They seemed to be building her character up during S10 but have now suddenly dropped her.

I cannot believe it. I would sign my name a thousand times or more to keep you on the show. CBS has done some extremely dumb things before, but this HAS TO BE in the top five!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a group on facebook along with a petition to keep Liz Vassey on the show. If your on fb why not show your support but joining the group and signing the petition.
