CSI jumped the shark last night with Haskell's escape. He's so dangerous that he's chained and escorted by a squad of officers into the courtroom. But after he's convicted, he's left alone to swap a wrist band with another prisoner with only one jailer outside, away from the holding cell? And escapes with the help of two groupies who waste four officers? Puh-leeeze . . . . Thought the CSI producers were above pandering to sweeps . . . . Color me a fan who's gone . . . . . . Do you find this valuable?

I don't know if I would go so far as to say it jumped the shark but I absolutely agree about the Haskell escape. He was so dangerous that they couldn't even have him running loose in the courtroom. They had to have him in a plexiglass box! Yet, they transported him in a van that did not appear to be heavily armored and with other prisoners. If he really was that dangerous, they would not have transported him with other prisoners. Also, they would've had him secured better than simple chains. They would've used straight-jacket type restraints.

I never did care for the Haskell story arc and last night put the finishing touches on for me. Now unfortunately between the prison escape and an article I read a couple days ago, I know it's not even done yet. It's time to lock him up, throw away the key and move onto a more interesting serial killer arc.
