250 episodes! Wow - way to go! and the Dick & Jane killer is back - kidnapping Langston's ex. wife. Guess it's easy to say he's after Langston but will Langston survive the battle with Nate Haskell? Tune in and find out.... Do you find this valuable?

This better be better than the 200th episode. That one was disappointing honestly. I hope this is better than that. I really hope it is. Do you find this valuable?

200th episode, I remember it was during season 9 but I can't think of the title right now but I know which one you're talking about.

That was "Mascara" the one about the wrestling and the student of Langston's. I didn't think it was very good, but that's just me.

Though is it just me that most of these pivotal episodes are all about Langston? I mean, great we get more background on the guy, but it feels like the same old same old. He's suspected of murder then gets let off and goes rogue again. Have they learned nothing? I mean, it was a good epsiode (much better than 200 I think) and there were a lot of exciting moments, but it felt like they were reusing plot lines and had cliche cliffhangers and used the same devices over and over again with Ray. Does anyone else get that, or am I just getting too tired of it?

Nick was good in this ep, though I don't think his character would go so off the grid like that to help someone he's only known like three years... Catherine was rational and I thought that was good for her character. Greg was virtually non existent unless he was giving a piece of information or comic relief with Hodges and then he was gone again, like we've seen so much of the past three seasons. And what was with Sara. She seemed kind of defensive again for a man she had only been working with for what? Two years? I really liked the connection to Ecklie though. It was a little out there for me, but I thought it was cute. I can say it kept me interested because it was so face paced, but that was one of the only reasons I stayed focused. If the dialogue had been transposed onto another one of the Haskel episodes or something to do with Ray, I think it still would have made sense and that isn't a good thing.

I love CSI. I really do. But unless they start coming up with new ideas for plotlines and character stories that don't make it seem like a highly unrealistic Soap Opera on primetime TV, I think their contract with CBS will be up after season 12 or maybe 13. We won't get past that.

WOW! A few thoughts about what i liked about this episode. I will have to watch again because i thought the first half went a little slow but the second half sure did pick up.

I like Morgan, Ecklie's daughter. Can't wait to see her first scene with dear old dad. When she was eating peanut butter at the crime scene and had a rat in a cage it kind of made me think that was something that Grissom would appreciate or find amusing. The LA detective Sosa was a bit territorial but cops tend to act that way when you go to their cities.

Hodges and his "foot in mouth disease". Loved the scene with him and Greg in the lab. A lot of funny moments. Greg on the phone and Hodges keeps saying "ask about Ray, ask about Ray. And when he made the comment about Ray going all "Dirty Harry" on them. Too funny. Catherine telling Nick to Cowboy Up and Nick saying he won't get on his knees.

Ray had great scenes with everyone. When Ray is bad he is bad. These are the type of scenes that LF does really well.

When Nick was in the motel room with Ray there was a moment there that i thought he was going to say something about Warrick but i bet he was thinking about him. A lot of people are having a problem with Nick in this episode acting the way he did but i think Nick feels a little guilty and that is why he is there for Ray at all costs. He wasn't there for Warrick till it was to late and i just feel like he might feel a little guilty about that. So much was going on with Warrick and none of them knew about it until it was to late. I don't think Nick want's to make the same mistake.

Catherine was in top supervisor form.

God, i wanted to just hug Ray when he told Catherine that "i don't think i can do this boss." And the look on his face when facing Haskell on the Pier and Nate said 'if you kill me then two die. Gloria is alive.

Ran out of room so i will continue.

I'm not so sure now that Ray is the one that will kill Haskell. After watching last nights episode i'm now thinking it might be Gloria and Ray lies to protect her. I could be wrong but that is what i got from the ending.

Absolutly loved the scene in the airport with Ray and Doc Rob. They have such a special bond/friendship. I don't think Doc Rob and Grissom were even that close.

I am VERY excited for next week's episode, and I hope it will be as exciting as last night's. I didn't see the first five minutes-or-so before the opening credits (DVR stopped working), so I hope I didn't miss any important things! However, I'm pretty sure I can find some place to watch it online.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this episode. I thought it was pretty interesting to see the CSIs go to a new location.
Oh, and what do the rest of you think about the supposed new regular? Can't remember her last name, but her first name was Morgan - you know, Ecklie's daughter?
I was a little worried about CSI getting a new character, because I'm not used to huge change like that for the show (like Ray, it was a little hard to get used to him), but I actually think she could be a great new character. The question is, will she be moving to Vegas? Or will she be an outside source for future cases?

I thought this was one of the most, intense, riveting episode this season. From the begining till the end. The whole cast in tune and in L.A. and back to Vegas, and the camraderie with Ray and all of his team mates, all leding him their best to help catch this creepy Haskell. So great to see CSI is still on top of their game~The last scene from Nate.. "WELCOME HOME RAY" EWWW~ Do you find this valuable?

I like the way they introduced Morgan Brody aka Ecklie's daughter to us. A girl with attitude and smarts; she didn't over power Catherine and Langston by mentioning who Bio Dad was but let Catherine put two and two together. She was introduced almost like Sara was as a person with a connection to the Lab and through Ecklie a little history comes with her. Catherine remembered her as a child. She seems to be the complete opposite of Ecklie; anything but a Brown Noser.

I hated "Mascara" you only saw maybe two minutes of Catherine, Nick and Greg plus poor Brass was nothing more than Ray's driver but 250 was better everyone contributed and with the exception of Brass (MIA this episode) kept busy and got to act.

When it comes to who going to Kill Nate' I'll stick with Ray finishing the job, It's the Promo from next week that's got me wondering. Did Nate start his killing at home or did he just take over from Daddy? And, How many bodies are they going to find?

Ahhh thank you!! i don't remember that one.... guess i'd better go and watch it now!! (even though every seems to not like it. lol.) :)

I FINALLY FINISHED THE EPISODE (thank you DVR) and i must say, for a Ray/Haskell episode, it was pretty good! I feel that if they had focused more on only Ray and Haskell, i probably would have turned off the TV. GOD i am so tired of Haskell and Ray going at it every. single. episode. I just want one of them to die and get it done and over with (preferably Haskell). I'm sorry if it sounds a little harsh, and i do like LF as an actor, but i feel like he's getting more screen time than he has earned. he's getting all of this screen time because he's a big name actor, but his character isn't really a main character that needs all that screen time. he's at the same CSI level as every other character, and i guess that's been what's bugging me from the start. BUT back to this episode, it was great because everyone got screen time, not just Ray. and i like Morgan! i hope she moves to Vegas!!! :)

The reason i think that you think Ray is getting so much screentime is because the major storyline is Ray-centric. When they had episodes that didn't revolve around the serial killer storyline is wasn't all Ray, IMO. Also Ray dosen't have the same level as everyone else. Ray is only a level 2. But like i said Nate is the Ray storyline and has been his storyline since Ray came to CSI. They are now going to finish it up. I've enjoyed it but it is time to put it to rest and go on to other things like concentrating on Marg's leaving and how that is going to affect the team when Catherine leaves. I don't get why fans are still wondering why Ray is prominent on the show. He came on as William Peteren's replacement and in that mode as Grissom was, It is Ray centered. He's not exactly a newbie anymore, as he's in his 3rd season, and some are still perplexed and baffled as to why they feature him the most. It's the same as when they featured Grissom the most, when he was the lead. He fits in great with the team they've all embraced him as one of their own, and that's a beautiful thing! Good point lynnah, Grissom was always insulting and putting Hodges down, and Ray went with him to that dinosaur exhibit, who ever went with Hodges alone anywhere? Nobdoy can stand him, but Ray was always considerate and nice to everyone. I just saw the greatness in Langston, and found NO faults at all with his character. he rocked~ Do you find this valuable?

Yeah Grissom used to do that alot even after Hodges broke the miniature killer case.
