S11 has been better than S10 and the second half of S9 but it's still not up to parr with previous seasons. Nate Haskell story has been dragged out to long, far to long. Guest characters were under used, the new detective and the bomb woman expert.

However, I'm glad the show is starting to showcase the characters more evenly. Ray is still the focus but slowly the other CSI's are returning to the forefront.

A perfect S12 opener would be Ray being fired and never heard from again. But maybe thats just me...

I can't agree with you more, rybeast (: I wouldn't mind Ray leaving either, but somehow I doubt it will happen ): I wish the spotlight would be moved off him, and into the rest of the team in general.

True, the new bomb tech was only used in one episode, and the new detective was also rarely used.

We got a little more focus and storyline for Greg, Nick and Sara, and a bit less of Langston, although I agree, Nate Haskell was getting old. Although, I would like a bit more on Catherine and Vartann, and just plain Catherine leaving in general, but I guess that's being pushed onto next season...

Some episodes were great, but a few bored me, Season 11 was ok, but not spectacular.

; CSI Las Vegas keeps getting better, Thank You to Bill Irwin for the insightful portrayal of a very sick, damaged person. Although Bill Irwin started as a successful, professional clown, he has grown into an amazing actor. If I were King of the Forest, I'd have Langston placed in lab with Hodges, as a form of safe-cation, to help him recover from the extreme grief process as the result of his interaction with Haskell, than promote Stokes to the leader of the CSI team. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. LOVE ALL OF THEM...One of the best seasons ever. On the Haskell fiasco, I remember in I think S/7 when the whole season was about the Minature Killer. Natalie Davis. So this was on going, but the whole team was out to catch this maniac. And finally Ray did get him.. but kudos to him and the team. It was so exciting, intriguing riveting and fantastic. I'm so impressed with the writers still producing great episodes. And to me CSI still is the best crime drama on TV!!! Do you find this valuable?

I really was impressed about this season. Loved most of the episodes, some eh ok but I still watch them like a true fan would. By far I think this season is the best I've seen since season 7. I can't wait till season 12 comes on! Do you find this valuable?

A lot better than some previous seasons. Loved house of boarders and the episodes where Nick and Sara get to work together again and their brother/sister relationship. Was good to see Grissom again - even if it was a tiny scene. Loved that there was less Ray orientated episodes. Think Nick should stop being the tough guy with the gun and went back to being a bit more vulnerable. Overall a good season and really looking forward to season 12. By far the best of crime shows on tv even after all these years. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

For me the whole Nate Haskell fiasco should never have happened. It was an unreal scenario but thank you Bill Irwin for a brilliant portrayal of such an evil person. Having Brass cover up for Ray is something he would never ordinarily do so I think the writers dropped the ball on that one. Some of the episodes were brilliant like House of Hoarders and The Two Mrs Grissoms. I did enjoy seeing Justin Bieber gunned down and the professionalism of both Catherine and Sara . I only hope season 12 will be bigger and better with more of the early series ideals of two crimes per episode. That made it more interesting and intriguing. I know Lawrence Fishburne is definitely a go for season 12. I just hope everyone else signs on as regulars as well. CSI is most certainly the best show I've seen in the last 50 years and I love it. A bit more GSR wouldn't go astray either. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Overall, this season was okay. not awesome, but not terrible. The Nate Haskell and Langston story line was the main problem that I had with this season, as some of you may know. lol. I feel like, with Haskell gone, we will (hopefully) see more of all the other characters and maybe get to know some of them better, as I feel that we have had wayyy to much time to get to know Ray. A more balanced lab would be my ideal season, with no serial killers and some story lines like those from the earlier seasons. Oh, and MORE GRISSOM!!! His cameo was awesome, but it just made me want more. lol. I haven't missed one episode this season, however, and I plan on catching all of the episodes in next season, and the season after that, and the 5 billion seasons after that. I LOVE CSI!!!!!!!!!!!!! <3 <3 <3 <3 Do you find this valuable?

wow i was quite impress with the season 11 finale...

thou they drag the nate haskell story for so long and the season has too many characters to keep track of...

i was actually bored of watching it, however the last 3 episodes kindda made the whole season worth watching... but its not as good as the season where nick stokes was trapped buried in a coffin. the best ever!!!!!

Because im English i havent seen the season finale but its on tuesday! :) but i have loved most of this season but i agree the Nate haskell story has been dragged out to long :) but i dont like ray and he has been in it way too much id like to see more of catherine and vartann before she leaves but they are proberbly saving that for season 12 and yes i think nick has become to tough but i loved it when he was in L.A and they said 'drop the gun put your hands on you head nad get on the floor' and he said fine. but i ant geting on my knees i think this episode he became a different person but at least he's not weak but i <3 Nick! <3 <3 <3 And catherine for that matter and is it me or is greg not really been in it recently.. :/ <3 x Do you find this valuable?

I haven't yet seen the Season Finale, because it hasn't aired in the UK yet, but from what I have heard, it sounds IMMENSE! I have to agree with rybeast that the Nate Haskell story has been going on for too long, but I like how they have particular crimes which are related to Haskell and that is how they bring him back into the show. The only episode I didn't like was Sqwueegal or whatever it was called (the episode with Ian Moone) because it creeped me out so much, that I couldn't sleep for weeks!! However, I thoroughly enjoyed this season, as much as all the other seasons and I cannot wait until season 12! It is such a shame that Catherine/Marg is leaving though, I love her! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I liked season 11. It was better than some previous seasons. It was more the show when it first started out. A good mix of story-lines for all. I like how the characters worked with everyone else over the season instead of permanent pairings. Bill Irwin deserves an Emmy for playing Haskel. He was so creepy in that role. I like seeing Sara switch to Gil instead of Grissom for her husband. Grissoms appearance in the two Mrs. Grissoms really added to a great episode. The ending show was very interesting. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

I think this was as good a season as they could have done without Grissom. I've come to like Ray more than I did and the season ending 3 part was excellent! My favorite moment was the Grissom cameo...small but great. I wish TPTB would explain more backstory on Gil and the rest when it's obviously wanted and obviously ignored because they think they are cute jerking us around. If they are smart they'll have Grissom back more ofter and give us some personal moments between him and Sara next season. Do you find this valuable?

; I must agree, Bill Irwin earned an Emmy. The writing on the show keeps getting better. I'm amazed my fellow fans of CSI Las Vegas missed the subtle dichotomy between Langston, and Haskel. Langston rebels against his father becoming a law abiding, law enforcing citizen, becoming the bad son, and Haskel complies with his father becoming a serial murderer, becoming the good son. Brass emotionally migrates from good son to bad son when he picks-up the cut bindings, and Sanders emotionally migrates from good son to bad son when he replaced Langston's bindings in his field-kit. Leaving the audience with the question, 'What is good'? Do you find this valuable?

There were some VERY PROMISING aspects of the show. I too think that Nate Haskel story line was dragged out too much. I may have missed things, but did they ever find the latex murderer. That would have been the perfect time to showcase more heather. And why the tease with Sophia? It would be nice if they brought her back. I haven't seen nor heard about her since I realized that she was in the original opener of NCSI LA. And let's either bring Wendy back or have a new pernament lab rat in her place, perferly have her return. AND LESS RAY!!!!!!!!!!!! 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

"I agree with your idea about Ray. Would you like to see more Heather and Sophia?"
NOT REALLY. I am totally happy with the writers choice of this marvelous actor Laurence Fisburne as Raymond Langston. His range of acting is so powerful and overwheleming, and run the gamut of everything. He can be low-key, soft spoken and gentle, to irritated and insubordinate, to full on rage and anger. I would always prefer him to anyone else except the original cast which he's also bonded with> so more me the more Ray the better~

Maybe the reason they have concentrated on Ray is to get him established as anyone coming in after Grissom really has a hard act to follow. I like Ray and although final episode not aired yet here in the UK I'm glad he is still around. Now all this business with Ray and his past etc have come to a conclusion CSI will now get back to normall. It was great seeing the Doc more involved this season :) XOXOX
